Residential Support Staff
The Plymouth Area Coalition is looking to add Residential Support Staff to our growing team. Residential Support Staff are vital to the successful operation of the Coalition and our programs. In this role, Residential Staff work to ensure a supportive, welcoming environment for all clients.
These responsibilities include;
- Maintaining the safety and security of the shelter, enforce shelter rules
- Smooth Functioning of the shelter during assigned shift
- Communicate and document personal observations, concerns regarding client behaviors to appropriate staff.
- Monitor shelter security including parking lot, surveillance cameras, doors, etc.
- Maintain privacy of clients in accordance with Plymouth Area Coalition for the Homeless policies, and as required by law.
- Respond effectively to emergency situations, document and communicate appropriately in accordance with the Plymouth Area Coalition for the Homeless Employee Handbook
- Reports To: Re-housing Case Manager
Qualifications of Residential Support Staff:
- High school diploma required
- Highest level of professionalism and integrity with clients, fellow staff members and the general public
- Microsoft Office proficiency required.
- Must bring a positive attitude and work well with teammates
